Gopal Sharma from Gundecha Builders says, "We started our work in 1966 from the western suburbs as we were originally from western suburbs itself. Our first project was in Goregaon. The reason we chose this area was because of the demand this place had and moreover, there was a definite plus point in so far we knew this area. It was the best option for our projects and maximum people preferred settling down in this area. Right now we have a project named Symphony in Andheri (W). We also have an upcoming project called Valley of Flowers are to be built. The prevailing rates in this area are Rs.7500 per sq.ft"

"Though the western belt is not completely developed from the industrial point of view, in residential terms, it is very well developed with the tower and skyscraper culture. One would have expected that infrastructure in the area would improve as time passes, but unfortunately it has become worse. The rise in residents has far out-stripped the infrastructure growth. My target market is the working class, where both husband and wife earn a decent living - in other words, salaried people."
